English Summer and Meiban Cultural Exchange collaborate to create an international experience in our camps
This summer, our Tamarit camp is preparing to welcome some children from China thanks to the collaboration between English Summer and Meiban Cultural Exchange, an organisation dedicated to promoting cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world. Each year, we welcome participants from different countries to our camps and with this year's partnership we want to continue to offer an educational and cultural experience that fosters mutual understanding, intercultural respect and cooperation at our summer camps. This partnership promises to offer a unique experience, fusing the richness of English with the different cultures: Western and Eastern.
Through the interaction between people from different countries and customs, who will share experiences and opinions, lasting and enriching bonds will be forged for the young people. By facilitating the exchange of knowledge, ideas and values, the organisation aims to promote a concept of friendship without borders and contribute to a more inclusive and interconnected world.
Students of Chinese origin will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a full language immersion environment, learning Spanish and English at the camp. In addition, they will participate in a wide range of exciting activities, from sports and outdoor games to creative workshops and educational excursions. They will also have the opportunity to share their traditions with their peers, enriching the experience for everyone.
On the Meiban Cultural website they have published all the activities and the planned schedule of their intercultural experience which will take place from the 14th to the 29th of July at our beach camp.
English Summer is looking forward to a summer full of fun, learning and lasting friendships for all participants, both local and international. With the arrival of children of Chinese origin at the camps, this year promises to be an enriching one!
