Hello families and friends!
Temperature is slowly dropping back to normal. Luckily it’s still sunny in this language course abroad, and hopefully it won’t rain any time soon. At 7.45 a.m. we met in the common area where the new classes were posted. After breakfast we went to class and we met all the new classmates. Now we can say we have friends from all over the world. We started the new English project; this week the topic is "The future".
At lunch time we discussed with our friends which afternoon activity we wanted to do: bottle rocket or dance challenge. The ones that chose the first option went to the park and built rockets with plastic bottles. The second group designed the choreography of the flash mob that we’ll do on Saturday. Both activities were incredibly fun! We then had some free time to shower and get ready for the Water Olympics. We had dinner and went straight to the beach. We played some games with water balloons which led to a water fight. The students were soaking wet so we went back to the accommodation. We’re very tired and tomorrow is going to be an amazing day. Hola familias y amigos!
Las temperaturas vuelven lentamente a la normalidad. Afortunadamente todavía está soleado en este curso de idiomas en el extranjero, y con suerte no lloverá pronto. A las 7.45 a.m. nos hemos reunido en el área común donde estaban las nuevas clases colgadas. Después del desayuno, hemos ido a clase y hemos conocido a todos los nuevos compañeros. Ahora podemos decir que tenemos amigos de todo el mundo. Hemos comenzado el nuevo proyecto en inglés; esta semana el tema es el futuro.
A la hora de comer hemos decidido con nuestros amigos qué actividad de la tarde queríamos hacer: cohetes con botellas o desafío de baile. Los que han elegido la primera opción han ido al parque y han construido cohetes con botellas de plástico. El segundo grupo ha creado la coreografía del flash mob que haremos el sábado. ¡Ambas actividades han sido increíblemente divertidas! Luego hemos tenido algo de tiempo libre para ducharnos y prepararnos para los Juegos Olímpicos de Agua. Hemos cenado y nos hemos ido directos a la playa. Hemos jugado con globos de agua que ha conducido a una pelea de agua divertidísima. Los estudiantes estaban empapados así que hemos vuelto al alojamiento. Estamos muy cansados y mañana va a ser un día increíble. Así que nos vamos a la cama.
